Rocky River Public Library will be closed on July 4 in observance of the Independance Day Holiday. We will reopen at 9am on July 5.

Make It or Take It Crafternoons - May 3

Children's Services: 2pm Craft program in the purple room

Prepare for ACT and SAT - May 3

The Princeton Review will hold a practice ACT test for sophomores, juniors and seniors. Please bring a calculator and two number two pencils. Results of the test will be returned at a strategy session which will take place in the library Auditorium on May 16th from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. No registration is needed for the strategy session.

 

Video Gaming Afternoons in the Basement - May 6

Come hang out with your friends and play PS2 or Nintendo Wii! No registration required. Snacks will be served at the start time. Ages 11-15 4pm, Auditorium

Meet the Author: Carole Calladine - May 8

Popular  author discusses the craft of writing and her new memoir, Second Story Woman. In this, her third book, the author shares a lively account of her quest for second chances. Q and A is followed with a book signing. (You may also know Carole as  Director of Senior Services.) No registration. 7pm, Auditorium

COWAN SYMPOSIUM 2008 featuring speakers and forums, continental breakfast, lunch, scholarship awards. This is the 18th annual symposium. It is great for collectors, local history buffs, art students, Cowan enthusiasts, etc. - All Day

Pizza Party for Reading Partners Volunteers - May 14

Reading Partners volunteers work with younger students at the library during June or July. Become a volunteer and help younger students practice reading! Join us at the Pizza Party and you will also be attending a required training session. 4pm, Community Room

Learn how to create a healthy home using the ancient wisdom of vastu to design interiors that take positive advantage of the power of space.
